Temporary School Staff Employees:
The State Michigan requires OSHA
compliance from all school districts. To meet this requirement, all
employees must be trained in OSHA approved courses. TSS is pleased to
announce the availability of online training to all of our employees.
If you substitute teacher or employee, you must complete these
FIVE online courses by OCTOBER, 2008.
These FIVE online courses are:
1. Blood borne Pathogens
2. Hazard Communications
3. Fire Extinguisher
4. FERPA
5. Sexual Harassment
There will be no
charge for TSS employees taking these courses. These are short
courses, each course takes about 20-25 minutes to finish. You need to take
these classes every school year. Please complete your training by OCTOBER, 2008/2009 school year.
All employees are required to
do the training and will login in as follows:

Step 1: Type username/ code 24530 (this is the TSS user organization code)
Step 2: Click on “Create New
Account” and setup YOUR Unique ID (UID). You must use your real name. Your
first, middle and last name
Step 3: On the
“Welcome” screen, you will select a tutorial to complete.
